The transformation from gallery to cottage was completed at the end of March – just in time for our first visitors. The building work and renovation was undertaken during the worst winter in living memory – stormy, wet and very cold. Despite the difficulties of building in terrible conditions we hope the cottage offers a quiet haven for visitors and an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful and peaceful island.
