Beauteous Evening

Over the last few days we’ve experienced rather mixed weather – heavy rain, strong winds, beautiful, still days and calm evenings. We are fortunate to have amazing light on the island – always creating spectacular views and captivating glimpses. In the lowering light of the evening, on walks along the beach below the cottage, I’m often reminded of the line – It is a beauteous evening, calm and free.
